Published research context (not product claims)
Melanotan-1 is the research name for [Nle⁴, D-Phe⁷]-α-MSH, an α-MSH analogue used as an MC1R research ligand. Licensed afamelanotide (Scenesse) is an implant medicine for specified photodermatosis indications. Those papers and licences apply only to authorised medicines, not this empty pen kit.
Pen-injector literature concerns regulated drug-device combinations. It must not be used to position this accessory as a consumer or clinic injection system.
There is no UK marketing authorisation for this kit as a medicine or patient device.
