Published research context (not product claims)
DSIP is a nonapeptide first reported by Schoenenberger, Monnier and colleagues in the 1970s from rabbit cerebral-venous blood fractions. The original papers used sleep-physiology models; the name is historical.
Later work examines neuroendocrine and stress-assay systems. Results are mixed and experimental. They are not a claim that this vial treats insomnia.
The catalogue name delta sleep-inducing peptide must not be used as a consumer sleep-aid claim.
There is no UK marketing authorisation for DSIP.
