VIP is a 28-residue amidated peptide of the secretin / PACAP family. Receptor papers use it as a VPAC1 / VPAC2 research ligand in cell-signalling assays.

Clinical-development work on aviptadil and other VIP formulations concerns regulated or investigational drug products. Those programmes are not authorisation to sell this vial as a lung, COVID or vascular medicine.

The historical name vasoactive intestinal peptide describes the original isolation source. It is not a product claim that this listing treats blood vessels, gut or erectile function.
