Glutathione is the γ-glutamyl-cysteinyl-glycine tripeptide used as a standard reagent in redox, thiol and enzyme assays. The Meister γ-glutamyl cycle is the usual biochemical frame.
Cell-biology papers use GSH/GSSG ratios as oxidative-stress readouts. Those assays are experimental. They are not wellness or skin claims for this vial.
