Published research context (not product claims)
KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide of α-MSH (residues 11–13). Papers from melanocortin / epithelial-assay groups use it as a short MC-pathway research ligand in cell-culture models.
Those studies report experimental cytokine and barrier-assay readouts. They are not claims that this vial treats inflammation, IBD or skin disease.
KPV must not be marketed as a milder Melanotan or as a gut-healing supplement. There is no UK marketing authorisation.
